Nick Teaches a Class: Getting Your Life Organized, One Card at a Time
Using Trello, a Free and Simple Online Tool for Organizing What Matters
Zoom Class, Thursday January 15, 2026 - 7:30pm Eastern
This "Senior-Friendly" course is for people who want their lives to feel clearer, lighter, and easier to manage without being overwhelmed by technology.
If you have important documents, cherished memories, photographs, ideas, or plans and you sometimes worry about where everything lives or how to keep it all straight, this class is for you.
Whether you are organizing end-of-life paperwork, preserving stories and memories, or starting a new chapter like a business or personal project, you will learn a calm and practical way to bring everything together.
We begin away from the computer, using simple 3×5 cards to discover how you already think about organizing. There is no right way and no wrong way. Your system is the right system. From there, you will see how Trello mirrors the same process digitally, making it easy to store, find, and share what matters most.
Trello is a free tool that works on computers, tablets, and phones. Your information can be backed up, shared with trusted people, and accessed anywhere you go. It grows with you and adapts as your needs change, without forcing you into rigid rules or complicated structures.
This beginner class is taught slowly and clearly, with plenty of reassurance and time to practice. You do not need to be “good with technology” to succeed here. If you can organize cards on a table, you can use Trello.
By the end of this class, you will have a simple, personal system in place and the confidence to keep organizing your life at your own pace.
