Emergencies can happen when we least expect them. Whether it’s a fall, medical issue, or unsafe situation, Emergency SOS allows you to quickly call emergency services without having to unlock your phone or search for the Phone app.

 How It Works

On most newer iPhones:

  1. Press and hold the Side Button and either Volume Button.
  2. Continue holding until the Emergency SOS slider appears.
  3. Slide to call emergency services, or continue holding to automatically place the call.

Once the call is made, your iPhone can also notify your emergency contacts and share your location with them.
