The Dick Diaries

As someone who get off on man-on-man action, I've always got time to admire and appreciate a naked dude.

Obviously, there's a lot to admire about every inch of a man's body.

While a guy's butt holds enormous appeal, there's something compelling about looking at a dude's dick.

Not only is there enormous variation in shapes and sizes of cocks, there's also that element of the unknown: What will his cock look like when he gets naked? What will his cock look like when it goes from soft to hard?

That's pretty much why I started my photography project, the Dick Diaries - to give me an excuse to look closely at naked men and to really get up close and personal with their cocks.

Equipped with a camera, enthusiasm, and an inquisitive nature, I'm getting men naked, taking their photos, and sharing them with the world.

I've lost count of how many men that I've photographed so far - it's more than 100. You can see all the photo-shoots on my website.

The first guy that I photographed was Antoine. I'd known Antoine for a while so getting him naked wasn't a big deal, but I'd never photographed anyone like this before - plus I was using a basic camera and didn't have much idea of what I was doing.

As well as solo shoots, I regularly host group photo-shoots where a group of guys get together, get naked, and present their penises for my camera.

That's always an interesting vibe - you can feel the sexual energy in the room and we often lean into that.

As my confidence has grown, I've started exploring the use of props with the photos.

Sometimes a prop can really work, sometimes it just seems kind of silly. But props also can help to make the guy being photographed feel a bit more relaxed - it gives them something else to think about.

Flowers generally seem to photograph well in a dick pic, for some reason - like these magenta hydrangeas.

As the project has progressed, I'm particularly interested in catching moments of intimacy between naked men.

Darren and Kevin were two friends that I photographed recently. They'd never been naked together before. It took a little time for them to feel comfortable physically touching while naked but it was such an interesting process to be part of and to witness their friendship becoming something deeper and more authentic.

Obviously, you get to see a lot of different penises when you're immersed in a photography project like this. I'm a huge fan of a dick whatever shape or size it comes in - I'm keen to photograph them all.

What I have learnt is that a bit of moisturiser is going to make everyone's dick more appealing. A well-moisturised cock catches the light and presents better on camera. It also doesn't hurt that the process of adding some kind of lube to a guy's cock pretty much always kick-starts his arousal. It's good to show variation in photos.
