Let’s Eat Our Way Through France

Now, this is a trip I would absolutely love for you to join me on: Delicious Decadence, a culinary river cruise through Provence and Burgundy, July 18–25, 2028.

We’ll sail from Arles to Lyon aboard the elegant Avalon Poetry II, stopping along the way for market mornings, vineyard visits, olive oil tastings, chocolate, cheese, celebrated wines, and the sort of meals that make you seriously consider moving to France. There will even be two hands-on cooking experiences—one in Avignon after shopping at Les Halles, and another in Lyon. You won’t just watch someone else cook. You’ll be holding a knife, darling.

We’ll visit Avignon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Viviers, Tain l’Hermitage, Mâcon, and Lyon—the food capital of France. Along the way, we’ll enjoy eleven food and wine experiences, including a Valrhona chocolate visit, a Chardonnay tasting in a castle cellar, and a special Bocuse-inspired dinner served once during the voyage.
