What are the rules of Strip Poker?
It's a simple game where everyone is a winner!
If you're looking for a fun game to kick-start your next social naturism event, grab a deck of cards and get everyone involved in Strip Poker.
This is a game that everyone can play - you don't know how play poker. It's a super-simple game.
Depending on how many guys you've got playing, you may need more than one deck of cards. For example, if you've got eight guys then use two decks of cards.
The version of poker that is easiest to play for Strip Poker is known as 5-card draw.
It's easiest if everyone starts off wearing the same number of items of clothes. For example, you can instruct everyone to start with four items - socks, shorts, t-shirt, underwear.
Everyone is dealt 5 cards. Everyone looks at their cards and decides which cards they're going to keep and which cards they're going to discard. The dealer then deals out the required additional cards to each player.
For example, from my initial five cards, I might decide to keep three cards and discard two cards. The dealer will then give me two new cards to bring my hand back up to five cards.
You're trying to strengthen your hand so that it scores as highly as possible.
Once everyone has been dealt their replacement cards, everyone reveals their hands and determines who has the highest and who has the lowest scores.
There's lots of variations in how the game unfolds, but the basic starting point is that the player with the lowest scoring hand has to take off an item of clothing.
You may want to add interest by giving something of value to the player with the highest scoring hand. For example, they may be able to claim a forfeit or request a dare or exercise some kind of power.
This is not serious card playing. It's a good idea to stop for a drink between every few rounds.
It's fun to make the most naked person be the dealer. You can add a Clothed Man/Naked Man element to the game by requiring that the dealer - and any other naked players - have to stand.
Strip Poker is a great ice-breaker - giving your group of guys something to focus on and engage with, with the added benefit that everyone ends up naked!
