Four Decades Behind the Camera
Nick Baer has been photographing the male nude since 1985. That’s more than 40 years spent documenting men, bodies, personalities, and an art form that has changed considerably since he first picked up a camera.
Over those decades, Nick has built an extensive archive of male nude photography, much of which now lives in the Nick Baer Gallery collection of books and eBooks. His work spans different models, posing styles, bodies, and eras, creating a photographic record that stretches back to a time long before digital cameras, social media, and smartphones changed the way we see and share images.
Nick was kind enough to share several photographs from his collection with GoNaked Magazine, including images from some of his published books. We’re pleased to share a sampling of his work with you here.
