Move Your Ass. Seriously. I built a GoNaked 3-Day Dance Challenge
I spend too much time on my sofa working at this laptop – so I built myself a 3-day dance party challenge. It's free to join me.
Sign up at: https://gonaked-dance.lovable.app/
Then head to the Day 1 challenge. I've got a video of some fun music (NSFW lyrics!). Scroll down a bit and there is a 5 minute timer. That's all you have to do day 1 - just 5 minutes.
Day 1: The “Nobody’s Watching” Warm-Up
Today is about breaking the rust loose. No choreography. No perfection. No weird pressure to look sexy. Just move.
Your mission:
- Put on the first section of the music mix
- Dance for 5 minutes
- No mirrors allowed
- Keep your feet moving the entire time, even if it’s ridiculous
Bonus points if:
- You dance naked
- You shake your ass at least once
- You laugh at yourself instead of judging yourself
- Record yourself and post a pic in the app
Today's reminder: your body is not an ornament. It’s a living thing. Let it act alive.
You can track how long you danced, how you felt, and even upload a pic of yourself dancing.
24 hours later, the Day 2 Challenge is released
Day 2: The Sweat & Swagger Challenge
Now we turn up the energy a little.
Your mission:
- Dance for 15 straight minutes
- Add movement that takes up space: hips, arms, chest, all of it
- Pretend you’re the hottest thing at an underground dance party and everybody wants your confidence
Rules:
- No sitting between songs
- No checking your phone
- Hydrate, because some of y’all are one shimmy away from a hamstring situation
Tonight’s reminder: confidence is usually just commitment with better lighting.
Day 3: The Full Liberation Dance
Today is about freedom, not performance.
Your mission:
- Dance through 20 minutes to 30 minutes non-stop
- Open a window, step outside privately, or dance somewhere that feels expansive
- Let your body move however it wants without trying to control it
During the final song:
- Put one hand on your chest
- Take a breath
- Thank your body for surviving everything it has survived
Not for being perfect.
Not for being young.
Not for looking like somebody on Instagram.
Just for still being here.
Final challenge:
Post one sentence about how you felt before the challenge versus now.
And remember:
A naked man dancing in his kitchen is already winning at life a lot harder than most people realize.
